The dawn of 2025 brought a wealth of activity for the CEDA team, marked by participation in several key transnational meetings that signal the launch of exciting new projects. We are delighted to share the initial highlights of these initiatives that will see CEDA playing a key role in fostering innovation and positive change across various sectors.
Building on past success, CEDA is a proud partner in Together Again 2: Innovative methods to improve psycho-social aspects in the school environment in interactive and attractive ways. This project, a direct follow-up to the impactful Together Again initiative supported by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, aims to introduce innovative methods and resources into educational settings to enhance the psycho-social well-being of students and educators alike. CEDA is providing crucial support to the applicant, ZS Fatranska, through overall project coordination and management. Furthermore, we are leading the dissemination efforts and spearheading Work Package 4, which focuses on the development of an engaging Escape Room and the subsequent pilot testing of all elaborated content across partner countries. The project's spirit was palpable during the kickoff meeting held in Nitra in January, where partners engaged in in-depth discussions about the work packages and together set the direction for the implementation of these innovative tools in a school setting.
Another significant project on CEDA's agenda is Cleanair 3, an initiative dedicated to enhancing air quality awareness and promoting proactive measures among senior citizens and relevant stakeholders through the development of innovative tools and accessible educational resources. The project was officially launched with a kick-off meeting in Granada in December, providing a valuable opportunity for all partners to connect and align on objectives. This was followed by a productive second transnational meeting in Krakow at the beginning of March. Discussions in Krakow centered around the strategic creation of informative educational podcasts and the practical application of air quality sensors in carefully selected areas, laying the groundwork for impactful community engagement.
Rounding out this exciting start to the year, the second half of March saw CEDA representatives convene with other partners for the kickoff meeting of the new Erasmus+ project 3aDitional+ in La Rioja. This project addresses the critical need to revitalize traditional manufacturing sectors – specifically footwear, toys, and jewellery – by integrating additive manufacturing (3D printing) technologies. The core aim is to ensure the future competitiveness and sustained employment within these sectors, with a strong emphasis on upskilling experienced workers and attracting the next generation of talent. In this project, CEDA takes the lead in Work Package 5, focusing on the crucial tasks of dissemination and valorisation of the project's outcomes. Additionally, CEDA will serve as the primary IT partner and actively contribute to all other work packages, underscoring our commitment to the project's multifaceted goals.
All these new projects have great potential to lead to positive change and foster innovation in different areas. In the coming months, we look forward to working with our long-standing and new partners to advance and make progress on these initiatives.
